SIP trunk monitoring with problem and recovery alerts

A registered connection and a reachable peer are useful signals when investigating a telephony problem. PBXonix puts the trunk state next to its PBX so you can find the affected connection and see when monitoring last received an update.

01

See the state Asterisk reports

Monitor SIP and PJSIP trunk information available from the PBX. Reachability and registration are different signals; not every trunk uses registration or exposes the same status fields. Interpret the state in the context of your provider and PBX configuration.

02

Notify the right people

Choose email and Telegram recipients and the alerts they should receive. A problem notification marks a state change, and a recovery message tells you when the monitored state returns to normal. An unchanged failure is not repeated every hour.

03

Understand the limits

A trunk marked reachable does not guarantee that a call will complete or that its audio will be clear. PBXonix does not place synthetic test calls or listen to audio. Use trunk states together with call outcomes and incident history when investigating a fault.
