Setup, monitoring, reports and data — explained clearly.
PBXonix is a cloud monitoring service for existing Asterisk, FreePBX and Issabel phone systems. It brings server health, SIP trunks, operators, queues and technical call reports into one workspace. It is not a telephone provider and does not route your calls.
Create an account, add a PBX and run its installation command on the PBX server with administrator rights. The local agent reads monitoring data and connects to PBXonix over outbound HTTPS. You do not need to expose AMI or forward a port to the internet.
PBXonix supports monitoring of chan_sip and PJSIP systems, including Asterisk-based FreePBX and Issabel. Available metrics depend on the Asterisk version, enabled modules and agent permissions. Check your own installation during the free trial.
The agent sends technical metrics, states and report records: times, durations, outcomes and known internal extension, queue and trunk identifiers. Customer phone numbers and caller names are removed before transmission. Audio and PBX passwords stay on the PBX. Account email addresses and display names you enter are stored to run your workspace.
Switch between PBXs, view operator and queue states, show only online operators, set display names and choose the page refresh interval. Display names do not change the PBX configuration. The panel currently focuses on monitoring; call transfer, listening and other FOP2-style call controls are not available.
Queue cards show current waiting calls, the longest current wait and available daily statistics. The daily period starts at midnight in the PBX time zone. Historical reports depend on the call and queue logs available on that PBX; unavailable data should not be interpreted as zero activity.
Yes. The Reports section covers calls, operators, queues, trunks and incidents, with filters and XLSX export. Reports contain technical data without customer phone numbers or caller names. The available history depends on enabled data sources, their retention and agent access.
Configure Telegram and email recipients and choose the alerts each recipient needs. PBXonix sends problem and recovery notifications when a monitored state changes. An unchanged trunk failure does not generate a new hourly notification.
The page displays the latest data received from the agent. You can choose how often the operator panel refreshes, but a shorter page interval cannot make the agent send data faster. Network connectivity and the agent reporting interval also affect freshness.
The plan is US $5.99 per PBX per month. The 30-day free trial starts when you connect your first PBX and includes up to two PBXs. No card is required and the trial does not charge you automatically. Online payments are being connected; contact [email protected] for subscription questions.
Averages of received RTCP measurements. Packet loss, Jitter, Round-trip delay. Updates every 30 seconds; agent sends minute summaries. No measurements may mean no active audio, missing RTCP, direct media bypassing Asterisk, or an unavailable collector. Missing data never means zero loss.
One history for problems, decisions and recovery. One incident per PBX and media direction. Thresholds apply to the average in each minute, not a brief peak. Recovery requires fresh values below 80% of the threshold for the same duration. Missing data keeps the incident open. Pause notifications for one PBX. Monitoring and incident history continue; notifications resume automatically.
